The mechanical connectors supplied with the kit are for conductor and aluminium armour wire. It is due to the shearbolt technology that this system is easy to install as no crimping tool is required when connecting the cables.
TE’s Raychem jointing system MXAW provides high levels ﬂ exibility especially as the kits are widely range-taking and cover most conductor constructions including their tolerances.
Reliability and performance are essential when it comes to customer demands and the MXAW joints meet this demand by exceeding international performance standards including CENELEC HD 629.1 S2 or IEC 60502-4 for joints.
