With a BSc in mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Innovation Management, Mark has been working for TE Connectivity since 2014 within the Industrial Business Unit.
He is now responsible for Digital Factory with the goal to drive the implementation of Industrial Internet of Things (and/or Industrie 4.0) in TE’s Industrial operations sites.

I am Digital Factory Leader for Industrial Business Unit.

What are your areas of expertise?

I am specialised in Testing, PCBA, Innovation Management, Product Management, Key Account Management, Requirements Engineering, Digital Factory, Continuous improvement.

What is your industry background?

From 1995 to 2014 I was employed at Asembléon (now KNS)  in various roles in the Surface Mount Technology industry.
Since 2014 I was employed at TE Connectivity within the Industrial Business Unit. I am now responsible for Digital Factory with the goal to drive the implementation of Industrial Internet of Things (and/or Industrie 4.0) in TE’s Industrial operations sites.

Which place would you most like to visit and why?

There are plenty of places I would like to visit, but visiting Norway to see the northern lights ranks high on my list.

Do you have any interesting hobbies or pastimes?

I enjoy tennis, travelling, collecting Dutch comics and spending time with family and friends.
