HARRISBURG, Pa., USA – TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, now offers several extensions to the ALCOSWITCH anti-vandal push-button switch range of products. These switches provide security and reliability in industrial machinery and building equipment. Through a jam nut accessible from the rear of the panel, these switches are designed to be installed in settings where they may be subject to abuse or attempts to cause damage to them.
TE’s ALCOSWITCH anti-vandal push-button switches are now available with flying leads termination in addition to solder terminals to accommodate different manufacturing and installation preferences. A 25 mm diameter switch has been developed to further extend the existing panel size range of 16, 19 and 22 mm. Through the new dual LED color combinations (red/green, red/ blue and red/yellow), TE provides additional design flexibility above the existing LED back-lighting in five different colors; white, red, yellow, green and blue.
TE’s ALCOSWITCH anti-vandal push-button switches are dust and water proof with IP67 rating, the actuator and bushing are in stainless steel and the terminals are sealed with silicon making them ideal for harsh environment applications. The switches come in single- and double-pole configurations and provide an easy user interface with a large pushbutton. Various patterns on the push button face, including spot, ring, and power logo are available.
