Digital Sensors for Connected Devices

Our digital component sensors (DCS) support a broad range of digital sensor products including sensor boards. With low power and a small footprint, our digital sensors are particularly suitable for wearable and connected devices that gather and share information about health monitoring, fitness, air quality and related applications and can be tested and qualified using various commercial available platforms.

Product Features:

Capabilities of TE's Digital Sensor Portfolio
  • Simple integration of TE sensor technologies across standard development kit platforms to simplify the part qualification process
  • Sensor technologies available include pressure, temperature, humidity, and position with various products integrating multiple sensor types within the same kit
  • Ease of use with available software/firmware drivers, graphical user interfaces, and manuals available for download

Grove Humidity Temperature Sensor Board with HTU21D sensor

Our sensor development boards provide the necessary hardware to provide an interface with any system that utilitize Grove System compatible expansion ports configurable for I2C communication. Each of our sensor boards are fully calibrated during manufacturing. The external control signal 5V supply using the standard 2-wire I2C connection scheme. As IC is power rated at 3.6V, the boards integrate necessary fixtures such as a regulator and electrical level shift so that the SCL and SDA signals could be driven directly from an external 5V I2C lines and power supply.
