Flexibility in Cable Production
From crimp-by-crimp terminations to twisting, fluxing, and twinning, the fully automatic Gamma 255 Leadmaker delivers compelling process control and minimal changeover times.
In spite of its compactness, TE’s Gamma 255 leadmaker has fully integrated quality monitoring and feed systems as part of its standard equipment. The Gamma 255 leadmaker is a flexible fully automatic crimping machine for efficient wire processing. It processes cross sections in a range from 0.0123mm² (14 AWG). It is compatible with most commercially available applications and handles double crimped wires as short as 20mm. The entire cross section is processed using programmable, highly dynamic servo-drives and V-stripping blades. As part of its standard equipment, the machine has a pre-feeder, splices, wire-end and knot detection, as well as two wire straightening units. The integrated pre-feeder provides gentle wire feed from drums, coils, or reels even at high draw-in speeds. The machine has a WPCS interface so it can fit seamlessly into your network.
This fully automatic crimping machine excels in simplicity of operation and flexibility. From crimp by crimp terminations to twisting, fluxing, and tinning, the Gamma 255 carries it out with compelling process control and minimal changeover times.
