The PT360 is a 4-20mA rotary encoder for OEM applications. The BT360 is a 360° rotational encoder board with configurable two wires, 4-20 mA output signal. The zero angle position can be calibrated by using a third pad on the PCB. The System is powered by 12-24 VDC. Because of the contactless measurement MR-technology it is well suited for harsh environments. Magnets of all types and shapes with a homogeneous magnetic field (field strength of 25 kA/m or more at the sensor point) can be used. The magnetoresistive based sensor design ensures that the accuracy depends only on the magnetic field direction and therefore is independent over a wide range on the air gap between magnet and sensor. With a typical angle resolution of 0.02° and a PCB diameter of less than 26mm the BT360 encoder board is suitable for a wide range of automation and measurement applications.
