Brighton, UK

TE Engineering CoE

Our Brighton lab is a hybrid between a high-power lab and a high-voltage lab, which enables us to conduct the full gamut of arrester testing. This facility has been an accredited high voltage lab since 1988. Our lab includes a 500 kV transformer – capable of conducint PD testing – and a modern impulse tester capable of conducting full-operation duty-type tests.

Focused on application engineering, our Limerick lab supports application-specific testing and qualification for meeting IEC mechanical standards. We conduct field-failure analysis and review and approve new component suppliers for critical components. The core mechanical testing equipment is based on the 200kN instron tensile and cantilever testing. At this lab, we are able to conduct moisture-ingress testing to British rail standards, as well as dry-penetration testing and water-diffusion resting on FRP cores.

TE Engineering CoE

Since 1994, our Gevrey-Chambertin Lab has been accredited in 21 test competencies, Each year, the team in this page performs more than 200 tests. This lab supports testing and new product development for low-voltage and high-voltage connectors.

Our Munich lab specializes in the design and development of cable joints and terminations. This high-voltage lab performs a wide range of tests, for products up to 240 kV tension.
