ULTRA-POWERFUL, DESIGNED TO ENDURE
Catheter assemblies for higher-performance, more cost-effective components including IVUS, ICE, Endoscopic Imaging, EP Mapping, and Ablation applications.
Size, control, and flexibility are key design aspects for interventional catheters. With deep expertise in cable design, fine wire management, tube extrusion, advanced braid and shaft design, and an existing portfolio of proven components, we are your preferred partner in complete catheter assemblies for disposable or reusable applications and we can manufacture it in our ISO Level 8 clean room. From concept to production, we are uniquely positioned to develop interventional catheters integrated with cables and sensors that are minimally invasive, produce high resolution images and are efficiently designed. Your supply chain is simplified with our in-house capacity to build fully operational devices and high-level subassemblies. We offer engineering expertise, manufacturing support, functional testing, and metrology. Our quality system is sophisticated and set up for easy compatibility with your medical device needs.
Medical Grade Heat Shrink Tubing
TE's Altera line of medical-grade heat-shrink tubing can be used as an aid to delicate catheter assembly processes, such as laser welding balloon catheters, or as a structural element in catheter shaft design. Whether you use off-the-shelf or custom-formulated materials, TE’s expertise in compounding, expansion, and polymer crosslinking can provide you with the tubing to meet your specifications.
Molded Hand Piece
TE has precision molding capabilities that allow you to specify light, ergonomic control interfaces for your catheter device. We can perform custom overmolds and integrate custom switches, controls, and molded interconnect devices into the hand piece.
Custom Single-use Connector
Balancing size, electrical performance and cost-effectiveness is the challenge with single-use connectors for catheter assemblies. TE goes beyond cost containment in the connector itself by looking at design for manufacturability and cost mitigation.
Reusable System Trunk Cable
Many single-use systems utilize a reusable trunk cable as a bridge from the catheter device to the system. TE will use our expertise in high-performance reusable cable to help you link your catheter product to the interventional system.
