1

What was the most exciting or rewarding project you have worked on?

I spent about 8 years of my career supporting the US Military with the main power connectors for the PDISE (Power Distribution Illumination System, Electrical) program. These portable power units power up portable base camps, and are mission critical in supporting our US troops as they maneuver in the field.

2

Do you have a favorite TE product? If so, why?

MIL-DTL-38999 connectors are the most popular in our industry and their versatility is astounding as it is the preferred input / output connector in so many A and D applications, and with nearly 100,000 configurations, design engineers very seldomly cannot find an arrangement that works for their application.

3

What present trends have the potential to influence engineering over time?

Aerospace and Defense customers strive for smaller, faster, lighter interconnects. Fuel efficiency is critical for all vehicles whether ground or air.

4

How do you stay current on emerging trends, technologies and priorities?

Voice of the customer is so important in order to stay in touch with the trends of the aerospace and defense industry.

5

What hobbies do you enjoy?

Golf and coaching my kids in their various sporting activities.
