Home laundry

Fewer laundry day blues

Washer and dryer OEMs rely on TE connectors, sensors, relays, tubing and circuit protection devices for their most demanding requirements.

User interfaces and modes of operation are becoming more feature-rich; clothing care improves and all of these benefits are offered using less energy than previous models. TE offers high-density connector systems and a broad range of relays, sensors and protective components to allow migration to smaller sizes as power requirements decrease.

The wiring harness interconnects the control board to the various components throughout the washer or dryer, such as motors, heating elements, water pumps and valves, sensors, door locks, etc. A typical wiring harness would include power and signal connectors, terminals and splices, heat shrink tubing and labels.
