The wiring harness interconnects the control board to the various components throughout the washer or dryer, such as motors, heating elements, water pumps and valves, sensors, door locks, etc. A typical wiring harness would include power and signal connectors, terminals and splices, heat shrink tubing and labels.
Economy Power (EP) Connector
Economy Power (EP) II and EP 2.5 connectors offer two levels of mechanical and electrical reliability. A true locking latch prevents the plug housing and post header from vibrating apart. An optional Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) device helps assure terminal seating.
Signal Double Lock (SDL) Connector
The signal double lock (SDL) connector system consists of plug and cap housings for wire termination, optional double lock plates, crimp contacts and PC board pin headers in both standard and high profile versions.

Dual Wall Heat-Shrinkable Tubing
Protect against moisture and corrosion with dual wall tubing, while insulating and providing mechanical protection. During installation, an adhesive or encapsulant lining melts and flows, creating a moisture-resistant protective barrier.
