VAL-U-LOK connectors offer ratings to 9A per line and 600VAC in .165” [4.20] pitch wire-to-wire and wire-to-board types.

VAL-U-LOK connectors offer wire-to-wire and wire-to-board connections with contacts on a .165” [4.20mm] centerline pitch and current ratings to 9A per line along with a max. 600VAC rating. Plug and receptacle housings allow wire-to-wire and wire-to-panel configurations and header assemblies offer vertical and right angle wire-to-board connections. VAL-U-LOK connectors are available in dual row 2-24 position and single row 3-5 position models. Vertical headers are available with optional polarization pegs and drain holes and offer a blind mate version. Right angle headers offer optional screw mount flanges. Crimp, snap-in pin and socket contacts terminate 26-16 AWG [0.12-1.2mm²] wire with insulation diameters up to .094” [2.39mm]. New models accommodate optional terminal protection assurance (TPA) devices to help ensure terminals are fully seated in housings and resist terminal back-out. Various material options allow users to select parts meeting flammability standards for various global regions. Additionally, new materials are Glow Wire compatible and meet UL 94 V-0.

Do you need to differentiate this connector from other connectors in the application? In addition to natural, the VAL-U-LOK connector system offers red, black and blue colored housings for ease of connector identification during manufacturing and assembly.
What is the benefit of choosing headers with a polarization peg? The VAL-U-LOK connector system offers headers with or without polarization pegs. The purpose of this feature is to polarize the headers to the PCB so the header cannot be placed on the PCB in the wrong orientation. What is the benefit of choosing glow wire housings? The VAL-U-LOK connector system offers glow wire housings that allow manufacturers of home appliances sold into the European market to comply with the IEC/EN 60335-1 4th edition standard.
Is contact back-out a concern? Do you need confirmation that the contacts are seated? New models in the VAL-U-LOK connector system accept optional TPA devices. These devices help assure the contacts are fully seated in the housing and they help protect against potential disengagement when the wires are exposed to external pressure.
