The streetlight control node is a platform with almost unlimited opportunities to create value through innovation, but nearly every solution must address a few common needs: mechanical mounting and sealing, surge protection, load switching, AC/DC power conversion, and an energy metering interface. With the LUMAWISE Endurance N Enhanced Base, we implement these core features in a robust, flexible, and easy to interface platform, allowing engineers and designers to focus on the business of innovation and implementing their differentiating product features without worrying where the DC power supply will come from or how to interface with the switching relay. Even for engineers experienced in the design and implementation of multi-output, isolated AC/DC power supplies, there are many pitfalls and opportunities for costly design loops throughout the development and qualification process.
