Power, brake and encoder are three components in servo motor applications. Encoder conduct provides information from the servo motor to the servo controller. Normally, the signal comes in 2-16 positions based on the encoder type. Power for servo motor is defined as AC or DC where most AC power is U, V, W + PE (Ground). Brake is optional for servo motor, but normally comes in two positions for signal conduct.
