Modular and Scalable Connectors for Automotive Ethernet
TE Connectivity's (TE) MATEnet modular and scalable connectors are based on miniaturized NanoMQS terminals for automotive Ethernet connectivity.
TE Connectivity (TE) plays a major role in connecting critical electronic vehicle networks. These networks, which can be conductive, optical, or wireless, enable transmission of data from sensors and systems including advanced safety systems and enhanced antenna technology for vehicle-to-world-communication.
TE’s modular and scalable MATEnet connectors for automotive Ethernet applications have been able to show a data transmission rate of 100 Mbit/s and 1 Gbit/s according to IEEE 100BASE-T1/1000BASE-T1. This can be achieved with standard automotive connectors based on TE’s NanoMQS termination system in combination with unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) cable or shielded twisted-pair (STP) cable.
