MULTIGIG RT 2-R connectors and guide hardware are compliant to VITA 46, and backward compatible on existing VPX designs.
MULTIGIG RT 2-R connectors support high speed protocols with impedance matched PCB wafers and contacts and low noise compliant pin terminations, industry proven with MULTIGIG RT 2 connector product.
MULTIGIG RT 2-R connectors feature an innovative quad redundant contact design which reduces wear at the contact interface under extreme vibration levels, while maintaining the same mating forces as standard MULTIGIG RT 2 connector product.
Machined Guide / Keying Hardware provides increased stability under extreme vibration, with the benefits of ESD contact and weight reduction from aluminum guide modules.
Daughtercard module’s light weight PCB wafer construction provides a durable “pin-less” interface, with the flexibility to customize modules. MULTIGIG RT 2-R connectors have extended contact pads to provide 2mm wipe with the new quad redundant backplane contacts.
