TE Connectivity introduces an advanced low voltage pre-insulated bolted sleeve, BPC type connector. This connector is suitable for under load (90A maximum) connections from the customer service line to the house.
The BPC type connector covers a wide range of low voltage applications from 4 to 35mm², aluminum or copper insulated cable, stranded or solid core. One connector innovatively replaces a wide range of pre-insulated connectors!
The connector is waterproof and has a dielectric resistance of 6kV for one minute under 30cm of water.
Easy to install, there is no need to clean the aluminum conductors and no need for specific tools. Thanks to shear bolts, a nominal tightening torque of 10Nm is applied and guarantees an optimized electrical connection that will last the life of the network.
