Pluggable I/O Products from TE Connectivity
The pluggable I/O interface offers significant advantages as a high speed I/O interconnect. With a standard equipment I/O interface and the flexibility of pluggable modules come the options for fiber and copper links, and various data rates and protocols.

  • The CFP MSA (Multi Source Agreement) interconnect system is a new ultra high speed pluggable I/O interface. The CFP connector features multiple channels, each supporting 10Gb/s with electrical performance surpassing that of existing 10Gb/s interfaces.

  • TE offers a guide rail system that meets X2 standard specifications, offering 4 channels of data throughput operating up to 3.125 Gb/s. We offer both a stamped guide rail which is designed for press-fit application, and a robust die cast rail which is screw mounted. The connector is a 70 position pluggable transceiver connector.

    PARALIGHT™ Active Fiber Optic Cable Assemblies
  • PARALIGHT™ Active Fiber Optic Cable Assemblies transmits and receive channels up to 5 Gb/s per channel. The cable assemblies offer many benefits such as meeting Industry Standards (SFF-8470), internally terminated optics, differential data I/O per InfiniBand version 1.2.1 as well as asynchronous, internally AC coupled inputs and outputs.
