Design to compliment 2mm backplane connectors, the UPM connector line meets the IEC 60950 touch-safe requirements and is offered in standard power and high power grades. The standard power grade is rated at 10 Amps per contact while the high power grade is rated at 16 Amps per contact - resulting in up to 100 Amps per linear inch. The UPM line is available for right angle, vertical, mezzanine and co-planar applications, features a hot plug design contact with three mating sequence levels and provide high durability and reliability.
