Rob Shaddock

 Rob Shaddock serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer TE Connectivity, one of the world’s largest providers of products and solutions that connect and protect the flow of power and data in virtually every industry. With fiscal 2011 sales of 14 billion, TE Connectivity has approximately 100,000 employees in 50 countries.

Mr. Shaddock works closely with the company’s business unit and technology leaders to enhance TE’s overall technology capabilities and ensure full leverage of the company’s rich inventory of technologies. He leads the TE Connectivity Engineering Council, which guides the company’s overall technology strategy and product development processes, and the overall development of the technology community. He is also responsible for TE’s Technology organizations in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and Menlo Park, California.

Mr. Shaddock joined TE Connectivity from Motorola, where he was Senior Vice President of the company’s Consumer Products business. Before that, he was CTO for Motorola’s Mobile Devices business. Earlier in his career, Mr. Shaddock served as CEO of Blue Wave Systems, a developer of leading-edge technology for the telecommunications and military industries.

Mr. Shaddock earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford, UK.
