Bob Scott is Executive Vice President and General Counsel of TE Connectivity, one of the world’s largest providers of products and solutions that connect and protect the flow of power and data in virtually every industry. With fiscal 2011 sales of $14 billion, TE Connectivity has approximately 100,000 employees in 50 countries.
As General Counsel, Mr. Scott is responsible for the company’s global legal, compliance, corporate governance and intellectual property activities. Mr. Scott joined Tyco International in 2004 as Vice President, Operations and Planning. He later served as Vice President, Strategy and Business Planning for Tyco Engineered Products & Services to lead the development of the business unit’s organic growth plans. In January 2006, Mr. Scott became Senior Vice President of Corporate Planning for Tyco International and led the separation of Tyco into three separate public companies. Prior to joining Tyco International, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff of Motorola’s Integrated Electronics Systems sector. Previously, he was Senior Vice President and General Counsel of General Instrument Corporation. Mr. Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Colgate University, New York, U.S.; a master’s degree in City Planning from Cornell University, New York, U.S.; and a law degree from Rutgers University, New Jersey, U.S. About TE Connectivity |
