 Gordon Hwang serves as Senior Vice President, China, for TE Connectivity, one of the world’s largest providers of products and solutions that connect and protect the flow of power and data in virtually every industry. With fiscal 2011 sales of $14 billion, TE Connectivity has approximately 100,000 employees in 50 countries.

Mr. Hwang was appointed to his current position in November 2008 and is based in Shanghai, China. As the country leader, he chairs the TE Connectivity China Business Council and supports all China organizations -- providing local coordination and leadership, and building teamwork and collaboration among the various operations, functions and businesses.

Mr. Hwang previously served as the company’s Regional General Counsel for Asia and also as Lead Counsel for the former Communications, Computer and Consumer Electronics (CC&CE) business which is now part of the company’s Communications & Industrial Solutions (CIS) business.

Prior to joining TE Connectivity in 2007, Mr. Hwang served as Senior Litigation Counsel for Tyco International.
